Ronaldinho

Brazilian Ronaldinho, who plays for Barcelona, completed his hat trick of awards when he was named the European Footballer of the Year today.

The 25-year-old forward won the vote by European soccer journalists organised by French soccer magazine France Football after guiding Barcelona to last season's Primera Liga title.

Frank Lampard, a key member of Chelsea's Premier League-winning side, stood second in the vote, ahead of fellow England midfielder Steven Gerrard who helped Liverpool for the surprise Champions League triumph.

Earlier, Ronaldinho was named by international coaches as FIFA World Player of the Year in last December, and was then honoured by his fellow professionals when he won the inaugural FIFPro World Player of the Year trophy in September.

Got a txt from Julian earlier today. Kind of interesting, unexpected.

Monday

Ugh, rough day at work today. Kind of to be expected, after the holiday and all.

Heard from Charlotte and Suki, both are back in the UK, doing fine. I don't think I'll have time to make it there this Xmas from Spain, but I may go visit in Spring. Also heard back from Judit, they may be in town in a couple weeks.

I'll be in Cinci myself, most likely next week. I'll see if I get around booking the flight tomorrow or Wed.

The weather was super-nice all day, we made it all the way up to 63 F. Not bad for this time of the year. But it won't last long, it's supposed to get worse tomorrow.
