Thanksgiving Thursday! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Got up relatively early to watch the Macy's parade on 34th Street, very nice, mild weather out. Now getting ready to have lunch. Been creating thumbnails for my movie collection, now that I know the media player will display them.
the vacuum cleaner arrived today, unpacked and assembled (required minor assembly). it's pretty powerful, like a lot the self-propelled feature, it really helps. more testing tomorrow, but so far so good.
also, the cisco/linksys wireless N usb adapter arrived. works fine, connects at 230 Mbps, fast. we will see if stays connected or drops, like the airlink did.
my LG BD270 arrived as well, nice little player. need one more HDMI cable to hook it up. great deal at $99, i don't think you can do better for a good quality baseline player.
it's TG weekend, awesome. a little cooler today, but not bad, in the 50s. bill got a kindle, seems very happy with it

been playing some more with my second generation WD Live TV media player. it is really great, i discovered i can place jpgs in the movies directory and have them be used as thumbnails, so you can browse the movie collection by thumbnail, perfect.
tomorrow we are having dinner with hans and jodi at the smith, cool
just eating dinner - i know, kinda late, but wasn't hungry sooner. watched the hills, now CSI NY. i am way behind on CSI NY, just not enough hours in the day to keep up with everything i would want.
