Hi Def

I've noticed Apple has been posting more and more of their trailers in Hi Def on their site (http://www.apple.com/trailers)

That's quite nice, they look stunning in 720p. If you are the lucky owner of a monitor and video card that supports 1920x1080 resolution you can also download them in 1080i, the highest def available. A nice monitor I'd recommend is the DELL UltraSharp 2405FPW , which supports WUXGA (1920x1200)


I watched a few earlier, King Kong, Final Destination 3, Casanova, The New World, etc.

Got up late today, I was out until late last night. Stopped by 1849 in the Greenwitch Village. Friendly people, met Stephanie, Solomon and Julianne.

I noticed that evil Wal-Mart, the world's largest retailer, has reported better-than expected Friday sales. It expects to post a 4+ percent gain in same-store sales for November, helped by better-than expected sales during the post-Thanksgiving day shopping rush. Not surprised given the amount of people on the streets yesterday.
