Looks like the latest Beta firmware supports ISO file menus, awesome. This means no need to turn any DVDs into VOBs anymore, you can keep everything in a single file, the ISO, and from there browse chapters, change audio and play. Perfect. This will work well for Seasons 1 and 2 of Mad Men, which I had backed up as ISOs, predicting the feature would become available eventually.
I have about 1.7 Tb of my 8 Tb full on the media server now ![]()
Amazing how many times the little switch found on laptops to turn WiFi off is responsible for hours and hours of troubleshooting to figure out why a computer can't connect to the Internet anymore. I have seen it happen so many times. It's simplest thing, but always the last one you think of looking at. Manufacturers should come with a better way to do this, either hide the switch away so it's not so easy to flip it accidentally, or tuck in somewhere else, or do it via a BIOS setting, or make it a BIOS boot option.
My brother emailed while they were having lunch today celebrating my dad's birthday, nice. Here is a picture of the panellets, Catalan for little breads, they had as dessert, typical and traditional of this time of the year in Catalonia.

I've noticed over time I stopped using JPGs for my images. I just handle everything as PNGs anymore.
