I created a media silo over the weekend. Uses a simple interface to search my media library across the network, which lives on a 1 Tb NAS. Went with a simple yet effective solution to index and cache the files. Seems to work pretty well. Getting decent download speeds, in the 70 Kb range. Not bad.
Requires authentication, obvi. No desire to become the next Napster

I have now 2 dead light bulbs, one in the restroom upstairs for the vanity mirror, and the one from my computer desk which just died. Geez, I guess I do have to take a trip to Home Depot this weekend.
I think the New York Auto Show just started this past weekend, planning on going with Hans, maybe Saturday.
Typical Monday at work, just got home a few moments ago. Time to eat something.
