The yearly call for papers for the IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering arrived today in the mail. Their intro:
"Data Engineering deals with the use of engineering techniques and methodologies in the design, development and assessment of information systems for different computing platforms and application environments.
The 23rd International Conference on Data Engineering provides a premier forum for sharing and exchanging research and engineering results to problems encountered in today's information society."
If I only had more time ![]()
Warm
Super-warm all day. Got home a bit ago. I guess I'll have to figure out what to it for dinner. Heard from Ralph today, an ex-colleague from work.
I may go out later, we'll see. I always say that, but then I fall sleep
. I've just been getting up way too early.
Had lunch at Markt today, love their entrecôte frites.
M34
Aha, I knew I was right!
Heard in the news that the M34 bus (one of the ones I take) is the slowest in the city, clocked at 3.8 mph average speed. Quasi-slow ![]()
MOG
Created a MOG account today. Kind of interesting. We'll see whether it catches on.
"Why MOG:
Share your musical tastes with just a few clicks of the mouse. The world can see what you listen to. For real. For free. "
