Picked up my parents from the airport, the flight was a bit delayed. We dropped off their luggage and went grocery shopping (Whole Foods on Columbus Circle.) Got back and had dinner. They went to bed soon, they are very tired, of course.
Bill sent a note - him and Irina may be going out again.
I got the Tivo2 box hooked up to my LAN via a USB2 wireless adaptor last night. Took me a while to get the connection to work, I had to fuzz around with the MTU size in one of the routers. But it eventually worked, so no more lame phone cables across the room. I also installed the TivoDesktop application, which lets you download shows to your computer and view them, kind of cool.
My parents get here today, I need to do some housekeeping and then I will go the airport to pick them up.
I think it's less hot today, but a lot more humid.
