I think I am going to stay in tonight. So, turns out Carissa and her friends won't be in town until Tue. Had I know I might have gone to Boston.

Just talked to Bill for a while, he was on his way home up in Northern Ohio.

Getting hungry, I wonder what I am going to eat. Maybe I'll walk to Giusseppe's for pizza or something.

BTW, it is beautiful out today. Went out to Duane to get a few things, and it's clear and mild. Almost don't even need a jacket. Hope it stays that way. The hordes of tourists are starting to arrive with the good weather though, can already see them in the streets. Wore my "I don't like you" t-shirt to work yesterday, got quite a few comments both at work and on the street . Although it didn't look nearly as good on me as it did on her

Watched Maui Fever The Movie today. It was the season finale. It was OK. Poor Anna. I don't think any of the characters ended up being quite happy.

Watching the game via SopCast. Works pretty well. Just have to wait 2-3 minutes while it buffers at first, and then off you go. It's a peer2peer personal broadcast app, similar to TVAnts. Tried a few channels, and the one that works best is GSports, a Shanghai Media Group channel. 355 Kbps streaming. Kind of interesting to see the ads during the half time break. All the same global brands but in Chinese, with the messaging customized to the Asian culture, of course. Nissan, Intel, Bosch, Kia, Chivas, Bud, etc.

Captain America was gunned down by a sniper as he left a courthouse on Wednesday. The venerable superhero is killed in the new Marvel comic book that hits newsstands yesterday, as reported by the New York Daily News.

The hero was created in 1941 by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby as a foe for Adolf Hitler. Over the years, an estimated 210 million copies of 'Captain America' comic books, published by New York-based Marvel Entertainment, have been sold in 75 countries.

The superhero, born Steve Rogers, was spawned when the scrawny arts student, ineligible for the army because of his poor health but eager to serve his country, agreed to a 'Super Soldier Serum' injection. Armed only with his shield, his strength, his smarts and a command of martial arts, the substance made him a paragon of physical perfection - but not, alas, impervious to an assassin's bullet, as revealed on Wednesday.
