back home after a week-long trip to martha's vineyard. just got home a bit ago, and now unpacking. all good, nice to see nicole 
. she went to DEspana and bought me a bunch of stuff i like: jamon, lomo, olives, manchego cheese, etc. she is now making appetizers for dinner. great to be back.
watched both soccer games yesterday, both via video streaming, the at&t network had decent bandwidth at our location in MV, i think we must have been near a tower because of the airport. i clocked it at 2 to 2.5 Mbps consistently. first watched part of the sevilla game, then the madrid game, then the barca vs. atletico game. good stuff.
a bunch of packages arrived for me while i was out: new slipers, a new mattress cover (the one we had was kinda old, and it is a nice tempurpedic mattress, so it's good to have a protector just in case), my new souped up tivo unit (yay!), and also a new class-T micro amplifier - awesome.
