a new explosion in japan, things look gloomy ![]()
in tech news, quite a bit going on:
1. today is pi day, march 14th
2. kayak introduced a direct hotel booking feature in preparation for its IPO. reported annual revenue for last year was $128MM
3. at&t introduces caps for their broadband customers, at 150gb and 250gb a month, depending on your contracted service. seems relatively reasonable, that's a lot of data. for every 50 gb more they want to take another $10.
4. milestone: the web finally surpasses physical newspapers as the #1 source of news in the US
finishing up dinner. still feeling under the weather, will go to bed soon.
