Thu night
Just grabbed quick dinner w/ Hans at Playwright on my way home after work. Need to pack for tomorrow, taking an Acela train to Boston South station in the evening, going to hang out with Bobby and Judit for the weekend, fun. Nicole is also coming
. I'd like to take the luggage to work so we can just walk to Penn from there, would be easiest. Also would like to get a haircut, my hair is all over the place
. Still semi-chilly. Listening to Queen. Should also try to catch up on AI but I don't know that I will have time. NY governor Spitzer got in trouble, tsk, tsk. The price of blu-ray players is on the rise, unacceptable really, so lame and predictable, bah. And Gates delivered one of speeches this morning to 1,100 business and government representatives. He talked about Congress being skewed to short term, and gave his familiar set of predictions about the increasing digitization of analog things ("smart" white boards in offices, physical desktops that are touch-sensitive computers in themselves, a la Microsoft's Surface tabletop PC) and the rising importance of software in everything from health care to three-dimensional simulations to education.
