Today I upgraded my DVD-RW DRU-810A firmware from version 1.1e to 1.1f. I noticed the manufacturer released the new version in April. As it turns out, among other stability and speed improvements, they have fixed a very specific issue with Memorex DL media, which is great for me. I have a pile of Memorex dual layer DVDs, and could not use them to their full capacity for either media or data because the burning process failed every time during the layer change. I just tested a disk, and for the first time ever I was able to fill it with data to its max capacity
