New desktop
I am experimenting with a new desktop wallpaper. I've played with different versions of this on my laptop for a couple months now. The selection of a wallpaper is not a process I take lightly. Usually, whatever I pick, sticks for years. You can count the desktops I've had in my lifetime with the fingers of one hand.
I am calling this wallpaper "Sexy Girl". The girl was designed by a good friend of mine, and excellent graphic artist, Todd, years ago. He gave it to me in a PSD file. I used that in a layer on top of a hi-res Mac dekstop to create this, playing with an additional hue layer to achieve the right color. I have versions in red, olive green, ligh and dark blue, and various shades of silver, with the girl in a variety of locations. Of course the OS interface colors have to be in sync - too much or too little contrast and it's distracting. This is pretty close to what I was looking for, clean and not too saturated, so it doesn't bother me.
If I do keep it, I will post the image and a few variations.
