Lost my metro card. It was a 30 day unlimited. I am going to test out the MTA "balance protection" program, called and left a message. Allegedly they will credit you back the amount pro-rated. I think I had like 10 days left. You have to have purchased the card at a vending machine with a credit card, which I did. A snapshot with the details below. Let's see if it really works.
