The relationship between the French president and the ex-model Carla Bruni is generating quite a bit of talk in Europe. Here is a cool pic of the 2 of them in Egypt where they are spending their holidays.

I made in to Barcelona fine all good. The trip to JFK was a bit rushed, terrible traffic and I was runnig late, stayed at work too long. I was extremely lucky to catch a cabbie who was going home and picked me up. If you have ever been in NY for the holidays you know that it gets very difficult to catch a cab around these dates. I tried calling a car first, but they have nothing available till late in the evening.

Delta's JFK international terminal is notorious for not being able to handle the volume of traffic, particularly around any big holiday. So, it was a mess, as usual, with the check in line running long outside the terminal itself. They have developed this system where agents run the line inside and outside calling out the next flight and pulling people off the line to skip ahead. It's fine, I guess. All that means is that it's not worth getting there too early.

Rainy today. I should catch some sleep, can never sleep on planes. I spent a good portion of the trip doing math tests on my iPod, kind of fun (I know, I know, very geeky too )
