All my jeans were getting old so we went shopping for a few new pairs at Saks yesterday. Ended up getting some J Brand's, a pair of AGs and also some of the new Sevens.

Bumped my Shuttle desktop to 8 Gb of RAM tonight. It was long overdue, even my Mac laptop has had 8 Gb for years now. I guess it says use of my desktop has become less heavy over time as I've come to rely more and more on the laptop. In any event, the upgrade took 5 minutes and went smoothly. I put it Corsair XMS2 high performance memory. The box is still running at 3.5GHz.

My new MediaSonic ProBox external enclosure also seems to work well. It has USB3 and eSATA interfaces. Pretty fast, I loaded it with 4x2Tb drives, 8 Tb of capacity in total. WD came thru and has replaced all the defective drives that were under warranty, which is nice.

Also activated my Google Drive. Seems fine, though you can get 25 Gb on SkyDrive (Microsoft's version).
