Time Warner Cable modem replacement(Comments RSS)
Alright, I just replaced my TWC Arris DG1670a cable modem with my very own Motorola-Arris Surfboard SB6190 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. It was a relatively easy process and all worked out as planned. I am not surfing at super high speeds and I no longer have to pay the ridiculous $10 per month lease fee to TWC. That means the new modem will pay for itself in under a year, and it's state of the art and super powerful, capable of speeds up to 1.4 Gbps down should TWC offer higher tiers.
